A limited fire broke out at the American embassy in Riyadh following an attack with two drones, according to the Saudi Ministry of Defense. The ministry's spokesperson stated that the incident caused minor material damage. Witnesses reported seeing smoke coming from the building. A source within the Saudi military mentioned that air defense intercepted four drones targeting the diplomatic quarter in Riyadh. The embassy issued a warning for American citizens in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dhahran, advising them to stay sheltered and avoid the embassy area until further notice. This attack comes in the context of joint American-Israeli military operations against Iran, which have led to the interception of Iranian missiles targeting Riyadh's international airport and Prince Sultan airbase.
