The fast-fashion giant Shein accuses Temu of using thousands of copied photographs and products to take advantage of its brand's popularity, describing the practices as "industrial-scale" copyright infringements.

Temu, on the other hand, denies the accusations and has filed a counterclaim seeking damages after being forced to remove products from the platform. The company accuses Shein of violating competition rules through exclusive agreements with suppliers. The trial will continue next year, and Temu's lawyers argue that Shein's action seeks to gain a competitive advantage, not to protect copyright rights.
