A landslide in western Norway has led to the destruction of a portion of the E6 highway and several dozen meters of railway, resulting in the death of a missing Danish worker. Authorities evacuated two nearby houses, and soil stabilization works were underway in the area. Although the clayey soil can cause such landslides, it is premature to establish a link with the ongoing works. The E6 highway will remain closed for several days.
