Heavy rains, which fell for several days, have affected dozens of houses in three villages in Central Java province. Rescue teams are facing difficult conditions due to unstable terrain, but continue the search for victims. The spokesperson for the National Disaster Management Agency, Abdul Muhari, mentioned that heavy equipment has been brought in to accelerate rescue operations. Landslides and floods are common in Indonesia, especially during the rainy season, which lasts from October to March.
