Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov categorically rejected the accusations, stressing that Russia does not interfere in the internal affairs of others. He noted that there are many people in Moldova who support good relations with Russia but are denied the right to have their own political representation. Accusations of Russian interference come in the context of presidential elections and a referendum on EU membership.
