Kim Kardashian has requested compensation of 1 euro from the four thieves who assaulted her in 2016 and stole 9 million euros worth of jewelry.

American star Kim Kardashian requested on Monday, in a civil lawsuit, symbolic damages of 1 euro from the gang of thieves who robbed her in 2016, during Paris Fashion Week.

Her lawyer, Leonor Hennerick, requested damages from each of the four gang members, including the leader Aomar Ait Khedache. The trial, which lasted four weeks, resulted in lenient sentences for the 10 defendants, the most severe being three years in prison. Kardashian testified about the terror felt during the robbery. Additionally, her stylist requested similar damages. The hotel receptionist, a forgotten victim of the robbery, requested nearly 550,000 euros for professional losses. The hotel sought damages of 100,000 euros for the harm done to its image.

The final decision regarding civil damages will be pronounced on September 15.
