The organizers of the Pride march in Rome have decided to exclude Keshet Italia, the only Jewish LGBT group in the country, from the event on June 20, stating that the group did not condemn Israel's actions in Gaza as genocide. This decision has generated negative reactions from Jewish organizations, which consider that the exclusion is a form of discrimination.

In a statement, Roma Pride explained that the presence of a float from Keshet Italia would imply support for the political platform of the march, emphasizing that they do not blame the Jewish community for the actions of the Israeli government. Keshet Italia protested against the exclusion, accusing the organizers of imposing a "political test" on them.

The European Jewish Congress criticized the decision, stating that no one should be subjected to an ideological test to participate in an event dedicated to inclusion and equality. Roma Pride reaffirmed that its political platform is not optional and that all participants must share the values of the movement.
