British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is facing increasing pressure following the resignation of two of his close associates in the context of the Epstein-Mandelson scandal. However, a spokesperson for Downing Street stated that Starmer does not intend to resign and is focusing on his activities.

In an address to his team, Starmer was described as "optimistic and confident." He is also set to address members of the Labour parliamentary group on the same day.

Despite his support, some Labour MPs have joined the Conservative opposition in calling for his resignation, highlighting tensions within the party.
