Kaja Kallas: Ukraine remains the main security priority for Europe

EU ministers warned that the war in Ukraine must not be overshadowed by tensions in the Middle East, mentioning that Russia benefits from rising energy prices. Kallas discussed common threats, including the use of drones, which affect both Ukraine and Gulf states. She also highlighted the impact of the war on neighboring countries, such as Moldova, and confirmed that the EU will maintain sanctions against Moscow, despite the easing of restrictions by the US. Kallas called for tougher measures against Russia's shadow fleet and discussed a new package of sanctions and financial assistance for Ukraine.
