Kaja Kallas, the head of the European Union's foreign policy, stated that Russia is facing difficulties on military, economic, and diplomatic fronts, and the evolution of the war is beginning to favor Ukraine.
Despite this, recent attacks on Kyiv demonstrate that Moscow does not show a real interest in peace. Kallas emphasized that European ministers discussed the demands that Europe should impose on Russia in any potential negotiations. She stated that an unconditional ceasefire is essential for any peace discussion and that Russia must stop the attacks and interference.
Kallas also criticized countries that continue to collaborate with Moscow, suggesting that Europe should use trade and investment levers more effectively.
