Prosecutors in Slovenia have asked the court to open an investigation against Prime Minister Robert Golob, accused of interfering with the police personnel, based on allegations from 2022 made by former Interior Minister Tatjana Bobnar. She claims that Golob asked her to carry out a "cleaning" in the police, targeting officials appointed by the previous government. Golob has denied the allegations and stated that he will cooperate with the investigation. His lawyer believes that the request is unfounded.
