Judge killed in courtroom in Tirana, Albania

The tragic incident occurred during a court hearing related to a property dispute. Judge Astrit Kalaja was attacked by a man who drew a weapon and fired at him, inflicting fatal wounds. Although he was rushed to the hospital, the judge died on the way. The attacker was apprehended, and two other individuals involved in the trial were injured, but they are not in danger. This is the first case of a judge being murdered in the courtroom in Albania.
