Supermarkets and pubs, known as izakaya, face the risk of running out of Asahi beer in a few days. Retailers are looking for temporary solutions but prefer not to sell other brands. In another vein, Japan has given rise to a new trend: cafes where customers can cry, providing a safe environment for emotional release.
