The cyber attack severely affected the command and delivery systems of Asahi Group, causing production to halt in dozens of factories. Supermarkets and pubs, known as izakaya, face the risk of running out of Asahi beer in a few days. Retailers are looking for temporary solutions but prefer not to sell other brands. In another vein, Japan has given rise to a new trend: cafes where customers can cry, providing a safe environment for emotional release.
