Israel has launched air raids and a ground operation in Gaza, stepping up attacks on Deir al-Balah amid an acute humanitarian crisis.

Israeli air raids hit Deir al-Balah, a key area for humanitarian aid, as Israeli tanks moved into the southern districts of the city.
