Israeli troops opened fire on Palestinians in search of food, killing 32 people and killing 18 others in air strikes in Gaza City. The incidents occurred near distribution centers run by the Gaza Humanitarian Fund, which replaced the traditional aid system. Gaza's health ministry has reported more than 58,500 deaths in the 21-month conflict, mostly women and children.
