Although a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas was announced, the Civil Defense in Gaza reported intense Israeli attacks, especially in northern Gaza and on the city of Gaza. The agreement, reached on the night from Wednesday to Thursday, is part of American President Donald Trump's plan to bring peace to the region, including a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange. The proposed plan envisions, in the long term, the disarmament of Hamas and the withdrawal of Israel from the territory.
