Although a ceasefire was concluded in November 2024, Israel continues to carry out regular attacks on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, including a recent raid that resulted in the death of four alleged members of the group. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz emphasized that the Lebanese government must respect its commitments to disarm Hezbollah, warning that Israel will not tolerate threats to its security. Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel's right to self-defense and warned that he would not allow Lebanon to become a new front against it.
