The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) declared on Sunday that they will focus their attention on the successor of the slain Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and on those involved in the process of electing him. Iranian state media reported that the country is preparing to elect a new supreme leader. The IDF emphasized that Israel will continue to monitor anyone who may be involved in the appointment of Khamenei's successor, warning that they will not hesitate to act against them. "Consider yourselves warned," said an IDF spokesperson, highlighting Israel's determination to intervene in this process.
