The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the launch of attacks on Hezbollah sites in the Bekaa Valley, eastern Lebanon, and other regions, following a statement by Prime Minister Netanyahu, who stated that Israel is 'at war with Hezbollah.' Although Lebanon and Israel agreed at the beginning of the month to extend a 45-day ceasefire, fighting has continued, and fears in Beirut are growing that Israeli attacks could also extend to the capital. Netanyahu stated that the offensive has resulted in the elimination of over 600 'terrorists' from Hezbollah and called for an intensification of the attacks.

Since the signing of the ceasefire agreement on April 16, Israeli attacks have mainly focused on southern Lebanon, where Israeli troops are located. In recent weeks, over 400 people in Lebanon have been killed, including paramedics, and more than a million people have been displaced due to the bombings.
