The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran announced that it attacked the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain with drones and an airbase in Jordan with missiles, in response to recent American attacks. Air raid sirens also sounded in Kuwait.
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that its forces began to carry out "self-defense strikes" after an American attack helicopter was shot down by Iranian forces. The IRGC confirmed American attacks on several locations in southern Iran, causing damage to infrastructure.
The Jordanian army intercepted five Iranian missiles, without causing casualties. The IRGC claimed that its missiles targeted the F-35 aircraft hangars in Jordan and warned that it would respond decisively to any further military actions by the U.S.
In Kuwait, the army announced the interception of hostile aerial threats and called for adherence to safety instructions, activating sirens to urge residents to take shelter.
