Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva was hit by a massive rocket attack from Iran, injuring at least 47 people, three of them seriously. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Iran would suffer the consequences, calling the attack "deliberate" and "criminal". The Israeli military has retaliated with strikes on targets in Iran amid escalating violence in the region, which has left dozens dead in both countries.
