An advisor to the Iranian leader warned the US that intervention in the protests in Iran would destabilize the region, following Trump's statements: "Take care of your own soldiers."

Ali Larijani, advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran, warned Donald Trump on Friday about the risks of 'destabilization' in the Middle East, following a statement by the American president regarding a possible U.S. intervention in support of protesters in Iran.

Trump stated on his social media that the U.S. could intervene if Iran continues to kill peaceful protesters.

"Trump should know that any U.S. involvement in this internal matter would equate to destabilizing the entire region and would harm American interests," Ali Larijani wrote on the social media platform X. "He should take care of his soldiers," added Larijani, who heads Iran's highest security court.
