Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, issued a firm warning on Saturday, stating that any country participating in the economic sanctions imposed by the United States will be considered an enemy by Tehran.
The statement was made in the context of the tightening of economic sanctions by Washington, aimed at increasing pressure on Iran. Rezaei urged countries to distance themselves from American actions, emphasizing that Iran has not attacked U.S. economic interests so far, only military bases. However, he threatened that, in the event of continued sanctions, Iran could target American companies in the region.
Tensions between Iran and the U.S. have escalated, and Iran's Foreign Ministry has accused Washington of "economic terrorism."
Additionally, the United States is seeking international support to isolate Iran, but has faced criticism from China, an important economic partner of Tehran.
