Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the national security committee of the Iranian parliament, announced that in the event of a new attack, Iran will consider the option of enriching uranium to 90%, a level deemed sufficient for military purposes. This statement comes in the context of tensions between Iran and the United States, with American President Donald Trump highlighting the fragility of the existing ceasefire.

Trump also stated that Iran's nuclear facilities have been severely affected by attacks from the US and Israel, limiting the capacity to enrich uranium. Currently, the fate of approximately 400 kg of uranium enriched to 60% remains uncertain, and assessments from American intelligence suggest that Iran's nuclear program will not be significantly affected without the destruction of the stock of highly enriched uranium. Discussions between the US and Iran continue, with Iran wanting nuclear issues to be addressed later, while Washington insists on the transfer of the uranium stock abroad.
