Majid Takht-Ravanchi said that Iran is open to dialog, but doubts the intentions of the United States in light of recent air strikes on Iran, including Israeli bombings. The Iranian official stressed that Tehran claims the right to enrich uranium for civilian energy and criticized threats of new attacks by the Pentagon. He also said there was no date set for negotiations and that the US position remained unclear.
