Iran has executed a man accused of espionage in favor of Israel, but activists contest the allegations, claiming that he was tortured for a false confession.

Babak Shahbazi has been identified as the executed man, accused of collecting and selling sensitive information to Israeli agents. Activists claim that the reason for his arrest was a letter addressed to Ukrainian President Zelensky.
