Iran continued to launch attacks on Gulf states on Sunday, including Bahrain, in retaliation for the American-Israeli offensive, on the 16th day of war.
Strong explosions were heard in Manama by two AFP journalists on the scene.
Since the beginning of the conflict on February 28, Bahrain has intercepted 125 Iranian missiles and 203 drones, reporting two deaths.
Other Gulf states have also been affected, recording 24 casualties.
The presence of American interests in these countries has raised concerns about their security, affecting their image as oases of stability in a region marked by conflicts.
