According to a Canalys report, India has become the top smartphone exporter to the US for the first time, accounting for 44% of imports in Q2 2025, up from 13% last year. China's share fell sharply to 25%, while Vietnam climbed to second place with 30%. Growth is being driven by Apple, which is moving production out of China due to trade uncertainties. Although iPhone shipments have fallen, India continues to play a crucial role in smartphone production.
