Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an immigrant whose illegal deportation to El Salvador has become emblematic of former President Donald Trump's immigration policies, was detained again by ICE in Baltimore. After he was released from detention, he was detained during questioning, and US authorities offered him the option of being deported to Costa Rica if he pleads guilty to migrant transportation charges. Without a guilty plea, he risks deportation to Uganda, a country considered more dangerous, and his lawyers are discussing ways to avoid that.
