IAEA director Rafael Grossi said Iran's cooperation in its nuclear program is a legal obligation after Iran's parliament voted to suspend it.

Rafael Grossi, director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has said that Iran has a legal obligation to cooperate with the IAEA as long as it is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. This comes after the Iranian parliament voted to suspend cooperation with the IAEA in the wake of recent attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. Grossi emphasized the importance of resuming IAEA activities once hostilities have ceased, noting that the agency has lost visibility over the enriched uranium left over from the conflict.
