Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó underlined the importance of restoring peace in the Middle East, noting that the situation is getting worse. Hungary wants stability in the region to ensure a peaceful life for its people and prevent terrorist threats. Mr Szijjjártó also discussed with officials from Israel, Russia, Bahrain and Jordan the need to avoid escalating conflicts, given the impact on Europe's security. He reaffirmed Hungary's commitment to prevent the creation of new nuclear arsenals.
