Former movie producer Harvey Weinstein has been hospitalized in Manhattan in need of "immediate medical attention".

Weinstein was moved to a Manhattan hospital on Friday, remaining jailed after his rape conviction in Los Angeles. His lawyer said he has become "a wreck in terms of his health" and needs much physical help. Weinstein was sentenced in 2020 to 23 years in prison for sexual assault and rape.
