The militant group agrees with some provisions, such as the transfer of administration in Gaza to a Palestinian technocratic body supported by Arab countries, but insists that other fundamental aspects must be discussed in negotiations, based on a broad Palestinian framework. Trump reacted by demanding that Israel cease bombings in Gaza, stating that, based on Hamas's response, "the movement is ready for a lasting peace." Furthermore, the parties are set to negotiate the details and clarify the clauses regarding disarmament and governance, issues on which Hamas has not clearly stated whether it accepts unconditionally.
