António Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, has issued an urgent call for dialogue and de-escalation of geopolitical tensions, in the context of the intensification of global conflicts and the deepening of inequalities.

In a post on X, he highlighted the seriousness of the current situation, mentioning "deep geopolitical tensions, increasing inequalities, and an erosion of trust."

Guterres emphasized that the current situation requires adherence to international law and sustained actions to strengthen peace and ensure justice for all.
