On October 22, in front of the Parliament building in Belgrade, gunfire was heard, and one person was injured, according to reports from local media. A video broadcast by the media channel NOVA shows armed security agents approaching a tent set up in the area, where supporters of President Aleksander Vucic were protesting against the government.


After gunfire was exchanged, a fire broke out inside the tent. Details about who fired and the circumstances of the fire remain unclear, and local police have refused to comment. One person, a 57-year-old man, was injured by a bullet but is in stable condition. This incident comes in the context of violent protests in Belgrade, where demonstrators are calling for early elections.
