Greenpeace has joined protests against billionaire Jeff Bezos' wedding to Laura Sanchez in Venice, drawing criticism for the commercialization of the city. Activists unfurled a banner in Piazza San Marco, emphasizing the billionaires' responsibility to the environment. Although the mayor and regional governor say the event will bring economic benefits, locals are demanding public services and housing. Bezos will also donate €1 million for environmental studies in the lagoon.
