In contrast to the harsh fiscal measures in Romania, Greece will eliminate the ENFIA property tax for residences in remote areas with small populations. This measure, announced by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, is part of a broader package of tax cuts for families with children and taxpayers with middle incomes. ENFIA exemptions are already applied on small islands and in border regions, aiming to support national cohesion and address demographic challenges.
