Google has announced that it will introduce labels for ads created with the help of artificial intelligence on its platforms, including Search, YouTube, and Discover. This measure is part of a broader effort to increase transparency in digital advertising. Users will be able to access information about how an ad was created in the 'How this ad was made' section, available in the 'My Ads Center' panel.

Ads created with its own AI tools will automatically receive labels, and advertisers using external AI solutions will need to declare this. Google emphasizes that the initiative is intended to simplify reporting and compliance with local regulations regarding the use of AI. The company also reiterates that misleading ads remain prohibited, regardless of the method of creation. This initiative complements other measures for identifying artificially generated content, including SynthID technology. Founded in 1998, Google is a global leader in technology, operating in various fields.
