Germany has vehemently condemned the Russian attacks on the Ukrainian capital, emphasizing that they violate international law and demonstrate Vladimir Putin's contempt for humanity. Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that the purpose of these bombings is to make winter unbearable for Ukrainians and to destroy their morale, but assured that Russia will not succeed.

Following the attacks, Ukrainian authorities reported four deaths and 26 injuries. In this context, the Bundestag's Budget Committee approved an increase in aid for Ukraine to 11.5 billion euros, aimed at supporting the Ukrainian army by providing ammunition, drones, and armored vehicles. Germany will also provide an additional military support of 150 million euros under the PURL initiative. The German Parliament will vote on the final budget on November 28.
