The number of cases of suspicious Russian involvement in Germany has doubled, with foreign intelligence services constantly targeting the country, warns the intelligence chief.

The intelligence chief stressed that Germany, as a NATO logistical hub, is frequently monitored by foreign services. Suspicious activities, including sabotage on ships and incidents with propulsion trains, have increased significantly, and Russia's involvement was noted even before the invasion of Ukraine. In 2021, two Russian diplomats were expelled from Germany after a serious incident, highlighting tensions between the two countries.
