A 57-year-old German man died after being bitten by a snake during a family vacation in Egypt, at the beginning of April. The incident occurred during a snake charming show at a hotel in Hurghada, a popular holiday destination. According to the Bavarian police, the two snakes involved were cobras and were wrapped around the spectators' necks. The "snake charmer" let one of the snakes slither into the man's pants, where he was bitten on the leg. The victim showed clear signs of poisoning and required resuscitation before being transported to the hospital, where he later died. German authorities are investigating the circumstances of the death and are awaiting the results of the toxicology test. The man was from the Unterallgäu district and was on vacation with two relatives.
