France intends to send missile defense systems and anti-drone systems, as well as a frigate, to support Cyprus, according to information provided by CNA. The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, discussed this aid with the Cypriot President, Nikos Christodoulides.

This assistance comes following a support offer from Greece, which sent four F-16 fighter jets and two frigates, one of which is equipped with an anti-drone system.

This aid was requested after Monday's drone attacks on the RAF Akrotiri base, where an Iranian Shahed drone crashed on the runway without causing significant damage, and two other drones were subsequently intercepted.
