French President Emmanuel Macron and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store have signed a strategic defense partnership aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries in the face of security challenges, particularly from Russia. The partnership focuses on NATO cooperation, military interoperability, joint operations in the Far North and support for defense industrial projects. An agreement on carbon capture was also signed, underlining France's commitment to Arctic security.
