All the injured were transported to the hospital. Sliusар mentioned that a fire caused by this debris was extinguished, and another was contained, without providing details about the affected industrial facilities. The mayor of Rostov-on-Don, Aleksandr Skriabin, announced that authorities have provided temporary accommodation for the affected families. Although the extent of the damage was not known, the attack has not been officially commented on by Ukraine. It has used drones to target sites in Russia as part of the ongoing war, which has lasted nearly four years. Rostov-on-Don, an important logistics hub, is a strategic site due to its proximity to the Ukrainian border. Russia responded with a drone attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih in southeastern Ukraine.
