A refinery in the city of Tuapse, located on the shores of the Black Sea, has been on fire for four days, following a Ukrainian drone attack, according to Russian authorities. The fire, which affected four tanks, led to the release of toxic substances into the atmosphere, causing severe pollution and the fall of black rain.
Residents have been advised to limit their movements, wear masks, and keep closed windows to protect themselves from toxic particles, which exceed the permitted limits by two to three times.
The attack occurred in the context of a Ukrainian strategy to target Russian strategic objectives. Additionally, a previous attack resulted in one person's death and caused a fire in the port of Tuapse.
