Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the brother of King Charles III, was released from police custody after nearly 12 hours of questioning, as part of an investigation into allegations of misconduct in public office. According to authorities in Thames Valley, the 60-year-old man, arrested in Norfolk, was released during the investigation, while searches at several locations continue. The investigation targets documents from the period when he was the UK’s trade envoy and alleged connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, allegations that Andrew has repeatedly denied.
