The Ukrainian Energy Ministry and the International Atomic Energy Agency have confirmed that the forest fire near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant does not jeopardize the safety of the facility. The power lines are working stably, ensuring the necessary power supply. Minister Svitlana Grinciuk also emphasized the risks of using diesel generators in the context of the Russian bombings, which have led to repeated interruptions in the connection to the electricity grid. The Russian administration claims the fire was caused by Ukrainian shelling.
