Ford Motor has announced the recall of 694,271 crossover SUVs in the United States, including the Bronco Sport (2021-2024) and Escape (2020-2022) models, due to a fuel injector problem that can lead to leaks and fire risks. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration confirmed that faulty injectors can burst and leak fuel into the engine compartment. Although Ford suggested an initial software update, it did not recommend replacing the faulty injectors, initially affecting only 42,000 vehicles.
