The National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor's Office (PNAT) announced that five people, including two minors, have been officially charged with terrorism in France.
A 24-year-old woman, a Belgian citizen from Liège, has been extradited to France based on a European arrest warrant. She is accused of 'terrorist conspiracy' and possession of explosive materials in connection with an organized group.
The plot is linked to the group 'Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya', which claimed attacks against the Jewish community. Four other individuals, including minors, are involved in the plan to plant an explosive device at Bank of America, being suspected of attempted attack.
The device could have caused significant damage, and European judicial cooperation has been activated to address the growing terrorist threats in Europe.
