Among the victims are a 59-year-old man, a 60-year-old woman, a 20-year-old young woman, and a 16-year-old teenager. A fifth person, seriously injured, later died from their injuries. Another 27-year-old man suffered smoke inhalation, but his life is not in danger.

Firefighters were alerted at 3:15 AM and quickly intervened with 70 firefighters and 30 vehicles, managing to control the fire in a short time. The fire affected a three-story building that housed a store on the ground floor.
